Learning how AdScale automatically creates Facebook campaigns can improve our understanding of how the platform operates.

Facebook campaigns

Using AdScale, you can create several types of audiences.

Each audience will be created in one of three campaigns.

  1. Dynamic targeting campaign

Product ads targeting new and existing audiences.

Dynamic audiences target people based on their previous behavior on your website and similar ones.

For example, dynamic add-to-cart targets people who added a product to cart from your website. These ads will display the products that were added to cart, creating a personalized experience.

  2. New traffic campaign

Ads targeting people who have yet to engage with your website or products in the past.

Ads created in this campaign can include products, images, and videos.

These audiences include lookalikes, interest-based audiences, and more.

For more information, see our new traffic audiences guide.

Ads created in this campaign can include products, images, and videos.

These audiences include visitors, add-to-carts, purchasers, and people interacting with your social accounts.

Facebook ad sets

Ads will be created in Facebook ad sets based on the following:

🟢 If the targeted audience hasn't been targeted in the past, the ad will be created in a new ad set.

🟢 If the targeted audience has been targeted in the past and an active ad set exists, the ad will be created in the existing ad set.

💡 Ad sets differ not only by the targeted audience but also by the demographics (age, gender, location) and optimization event.

Facebook ads

AdScales allows you to create several types of ad creative in one wizard.

This will result in multiple ads on Facebook - one for each creative.

For example, if you create a video and carousel ad in the same wizard, two separate ads will be created on Facebook.
