So you completed AdScale installation, created your campaigns, waited for a few days, and still no traffic?

This might happen due to several reasons, some may be related to your store and some may be related to the actual advertising campaigns.

Here are a few things you can do to kick-start your advertising campaigns!

Include all the advertising channels

Make sure to include all the available advertising channels you have for each Master Ad. The more channels you choose, the better are the chances that one of them will start generating traffic.

Adding keywords

On default, Adscale generates relevant keywords that are relevant to your ads, but sometimes that doesn't generate enough traffic.

Adding your own keywords benefit your ads in 2 ways:

  1. It generates more traffic using the keywords you added.
  2. It helps AdScale's AI to find  & include more relevant keywords automatically

To add keywords to your existing, click on the 'Edit' > Keywords next to the relevant ad (Keywords are only available on Search ads).

Include 'Facebook by Interests' audience targeting

Adding 'Audience by Interests' to your Facebook audience types can really help to generate your first traffic from your advertising campaigns.

To add 'Audience by Interests' to your existing ads, click on the 'Edit icon' next to the relevant Master Ad > Audience > Audience by Interests.

Make sure to include interests relevant that are relevant to your store and products. If you need help with that, you might find this page useful:

Fulfill Google Shopping guidelines

One of the reasons you might not getting traffic is because your Google Shopping campaigns were not approved by Google. In most cases, it is related to missing information on your store. There are few requirements that your store needs to meet so your campaigns get approved by Google.
 

Full contact information

Google requires the store website to display sufficient contact information that includes:

  1. Contact Email
  2. Contact Phone Number
  3. Business Address

Make sure to include at least 2 of the 3 contact information items  mentioned above, either in your Contact Us page, your About Us page, or Home Page.

Return and Shipping Policy

Your website must provide a clear return policy to your buyers, in order to be approved in Google Shopping. 

Make sure your website include a page that includes the following:

  • Shipping delivery times and delivery method
  • Return & refund terms: days to return, return address, etc...
