So you completed AdScale installation, edited your campaigns, waited for a few days, and received no or very little traffic?
This might happen due to several reasons, some may be related to your store and some may be related to the actual advertising campaigns.
Adding your own Keywords to ads
On default, Adscale generate relevant keywords that are relevant to your ads, but sometimes that doesn't generate enough traffic.
Adding your own keywords benefit your ads in 2 ways:
- It generates more traffic using the keywords you added.
- It helps AdScale's AI to find & include more relevant keywords automatically
How to add your own keywords
Keywords are available on the following ad types: Store Homepage, Collection Page, Other
To add keywords, go to the Keywords section in the Ad Settings
Then you'll have 2 options to add keywords:
- Type your keywords and add them to the ads
2. Search and add keywords using the search tool:
Press 'Save' once your'e done.
Fulfill Google Shopping guidelines
In order to advertise on Google Shopping, there are few requirements that your store need to meet so your campaigns get approved by Google.
Full contact information
Google requires the store website to display sufficient contact information that includes:
- Contact Email
- Contact Phone Number
- Business Address
Make sure to include at least 2 of the 3 contact information items mentioned above, either in your Contact Us page, your About Us page, or Home Page.
Return and Shipping Policy
Your website must provide a clear return policy to your buyers, in order to be approved in Google Shopping.
Make sure your website include a page that includes the following:
- Shipping delivery times and delivery method
- Return & refund terms: days to return, return address, etc...
Include All Targeting (Facebook)
Facebook campaigns are kicking off when there is enough data on the pixel to start generating traffic. When your general store traffic is low, it might take a very long time.
Including All Targeting will start generating traffic by expanding the current audience targeting to a more wider range.
How to include All Targeting
- Go to Campaign Settings > Targeting > Manual
