What is a Budget Group?
In AdScale, campaigns are managed through Budget Groups. Think of a Budget Group as a "container" where you decide which ads will run.
Here are the key points to understand:
A Budget Group can include ads across multiple channels (e.g., Google, Meta).
All optimization happens within the Budget Group itself.
Each Budget Group has its own dedicated budget, which is not shared with other budget groups.
Step 1: Integration (Required Before Creating a Budget Group)
Before creating your first budget group, ensure that all integrations are complete.
If you haven’t integrated your channels (e.g., Google Ads or Meta Ads), you’ll see a Connect button in the interface.
The integration option will be grayed out until you complete this process.
You can access the integration screen and follow the simple steps to link your ad accounts.
Step 2: Create Your First Budget Group
Once integration is complete, you’re ready to create your first Budget Group.
Set Your Budget
Decide on a daily budget. We recommend starting with at least $50 USD per day.
💡 Tip: If you’re using multiple channels and targeting several audiences, consider increasing your budget.
For the first month, we recommend using auto-targeting to allow the system to pass it's learning phase and optimize effectively.
Step 3: Select Channels
Choose the channels you want to advertise on:
If you have integrated both Google and Meta, you can choose one channel at a time for your first budget group
If only one channel is connected, the system will skip this step and proceed directly to the next stage.
💡 Tip: Once you’ve completed the budget group settings in AdScale, you’ll enter an intuitive ad creation sequence that allows you to build and launch as many ads as you need, efficiently and seamlessly within the budget group you just created.
Step 4: Choose Your Ad Type
Select the type of ad you want to run:
For Carousel Ads, select the specific products, services, or visuals to include in each card.
For Single-image or Video Ads, upload the desired assets in the recommended dimensions for the platform.
For Responsive Display Ads (Google), add multiple headlines, descriptions, and creative assets to let the platform optimize combinations automatically.
Step 5: Audience Selection
Define the audience for your campaign:
AI-Suggested Audiences: AdScale automatically identifies the best audiences for you, including:
New traffic
Remarketing audiences
Data-based audiences
Custom Audiences: You can also choose audiences from your Business Manager or create your own audience group.
For each selected audience, the system creates a corresponding ad set.
Step 6: Add Creatives / Choose Products
For Product Ads, select the specific products, services, or visuals to include in each prompt.
For Single-image or Video Ads, upload the desired assets in the recommended dimensions for the platform.
For Responsive Display Ads (Google), add multiple headlines, descriptions, and creative assets to let the platform optimize combinations automatically.
Ad Copy: Write engaging ad copy directly in the platform.
Use the AI copy generator to create ideas if needed.
Preview your ad on the right side of the screen as you build it.
Additional Creative Options: Depending on the format, you may have specific options like strikethrough pricing for product-based ads etc.
Step 7: Set Demographics and Location
*Chosen only in the Budget Group settings
Define the demographics and location targeting for your campaign:
Select age, gender, and other audience characteristics.
Specify geographic regions or locations where you want your ads to appear.
Step 8: Finalize and Launch Your Ad
Once the first budget group is created, the system will automatically guide you to the next step in the ad creation process. This looping functionality allows you to seamlessly create additional ads for your campaign without interruption.
You can either:
Continue Creating Ads: Follow the prompts in the ad creation pop-up to build more ads for your campaign.
Exit the Pop-Up: Close the ad creation window to preview the budget group and the ads you’ve already created.
Tip: For optimal results, follow the platform's “Recommended” settings and strategies during the ad creation process.
This repeatable workflow ensures your campaigns are structured efficiently, making it easy to add as many ad variations as needed while staying organized.
Conclusion
After launching your first budget group, AdScale automatically generates ads across the selected channels. Once the ads begin serving, the system continuously optimizes performance to achieve the best results.
By following these steps, you'll establish a well-structured and optimized initial campaign in AdScale.
The platform's AI-driven tools and intuitive interface simplify the process of fine-tuning campaigns for maximum impact.
To further enhance your campaign, consider diversifying your strategy by experimenting with different formats, refining headlines, updating creative assets, and adjusting targeting based on performance insights.
Note: Approval for ads on platforms like Google and Meta may take 24-48 hours, but once approved, your campaign will be up and running smoothly.
