An ad template is the most basic foundation from which AdScale create your ads. Each ad template generates multiple ads on various platforms. This article will shortly explain how the ad templates work “under the hood” and what happens when an ad template is created.

First, there are 3 types of ad templates:

Homepage /General Template:  Ads direct the visitors to the store homepage. 

Collection Template:  Ads direct the visitors to each of the advertised collections.

Product Template:  Ads direct the visitors to each of the advertised products.

Homepage / General Template

As it’s name suggests, this template should include an overview of the main type of products or niche of your store. This will help to create brand awareness ads or cold traffic ads.

For each Homepage Ad Template you create, the following ads will be generated:

Collection Ad Template

Collection ad template generates ads for each of your selected collections. If for example you chose 3 collection you want to advertise (on the Advertised Products/Collections widget), creating a Collection Ad Template will generate ads for each of those collections.

Product ad Template will be created for your selected products.
